Parque Nacional Cahuita has the most significant coral reef in Costa Rica; It includes a fantastic range of colorful tropical fish, 6 species of coral, and occasional contact with harmless reef shark or stingrays.
This horseshoe-shaped beach, has, at one end the entrance of the National Park and the gorgeous Punta Cahuita at the other end.
You will begin with a scenic 20-minute boat ride to enjoy the snorkeling in the areas where you will find more underwater life.
Afterward, you will get dropped off at the point to enjoy some delicious fresh fruits and snacks and a break at the beach.
And right after this short leisure time, you will enjoy a 1-hour hike in this incredible rainforest filled with all sorts of animals: monkeys, sloths, birds, poison dart frogs, iguanas and other fascinating sightings are frequent.
