In this trip, you will attend an iguana farm, and medicine plant nursery of the Kekoldi indigenous reserve, where a small native family reproduces the Green Iguana. Iguanas have very tasty meat, and they were on the brink of extinction, and it is thanks to initiatives like this that the population has recovered.
Afterward, you will visit another indigenous group in the Bri-Bri native reserve to learn about some traditional plants, their uses, and properties.
But mainly you will learn about the ancient methods of making chocolate.
As we all know, chocolate is original from Central America and was used in the old days in Precolumbian times as a sacred drink, as a medicine and to apply for purification rites.
